How to Reverse the Panic-Release Function on a Peachtree IPD Lock

This video explains how to reverse the panic-release function in a Peachtree IPD multipoint lock. The video covers the purpose and mechanics behind the panic-release and walks through the steps to reverse it so the lock functions correctly in your door.

Note: A curved spindle was used to test the panic-release function in this video. If you don't have one, use the spindle from your old lock — insert it into the handle hole and use your handle to turn it.
Note: If your bevel is facing the wrong direction, it needs to be reversed. Instructions for changing the handing/latch direction can be found here.
