American Cylinder - Flat Tail

American cylinders are found in Deadbolt locks, Multipoint Locks and a variety of other applications.
The flat tail piece will normally have break away marks in 1/4" increments to adjust the length as needed.
The housing are available in 1" or 1-1/16" heights, these may not always be interchangable with your lock
Keyways are Yale, Schlage, Weiser Composite that works with Kwiset Dexter, and others
The lock cylinder replacements listed are generic, not original Schlage, Weiser, Kwikset, etc. cylinders unless specified as such INSTALLATION NOTE; The flat tail piece will rotate 180 degrees. If the lock does not fuction properly, remove lock cylinder from door and rotate tail piece 180 Degrees then reinstall.

Generally, on standard deadbolts if the bolt is extended the tail piece will be in the correct postion for installation.
