Multi-point Mortise Deadlock with Two (2-point) Hooks for Wood Sliding Glass Doors.

Recess adapter pre-installed for wood door applications. Double Hook Latch insures greater security. There are several types of locks that look the same, please compare measurements.

• Markings On Lock: 7820877
• Faceplate Material: Steel YDI ( yellow dichromate)
• Double Hooks - Point outward
• Note: Some doors have Anti-Slam Pin: Needs to hit strike to lock door
• Hook to Hook Measurement: 7-3/4 inches
• Installation Screw Holes: 12 inches
• Handle Screw Holes: 3-15/16 inch - used with 3/4 inch off center thumb turn ONLY

Note 1:

Some Locks have outward pointing hooks and the Mortise lock had only one slot.
# 15188 replacement has inward pointing hooks and 2 slots for centered or off centered handle designs.

Note 2:

The jamb strike jamb is different when hooks point in or out
# 15188 hooks point inward, uses Strike 15163
