Hoppe HLS9000 Multipoint Lock Case (Gear Box Only) - Fixes Sagging or Droopy Handle or Broken Gear

Only Works with Multipoint Locks

This is a lock case only replacement part for a Hoppe HLS9000 multi-point lock. We also have an extensive collection of complete Hoppe multipoint locks, extensions, and other parts available; see Related Items below or browse our menu for other offerings.

Available in many sizes. Determine the configuration of the lock you are replacing, then choose from four backset options and two deadbolt throw lengths.

Backset lengths:

  • 35mm (1-3/8 inches)
  • 45mm (1-3/4 inches)
  • 60mm (2-3/8 inches)
  • 70mm (2-3/4 inches)

Standard deadbolt throw is 1 inch, but a half-inch deadbolt throw is available upon request.

Due to the way this is manufactured, you can use this to replace an HLS9000 Hoppe lock assembly containing a 16mm or 20mm faceplate width.

Measurements for backset and deadbolt throw are measured from the faceplate. When viewing measurement photos, consider that these lock case only parts do not have the 2mm faceplate attached.

To replace your lock case: Remove lock case from lower assembly, save upper and lower faceplate extensions.

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Remove existing lock case from upper and lower extensions. #3 Tri-Wing Bit
  2. Attach lower extension to new lock case.
  3. Attach upper extension to new lock case.
  4. Re-install multipoint lock assembly back in door with initial screws to hold in place.
  5. Test the lock is working properly (push in mis-handing latch to operate lock)
  6. If lock is working properly, finish installing installation screws. Do not over tighten; snug is good.
  7. Install handle set and key cylinder.
  8. Before closing door, test the lock again to be sure all locking points are extending and retracting properly.
  9. Close door and secure in locked position.
  10. If you have the spring latch facing the wrong direction, pull it out and spin it around. May require pliers.
