Commonly used for traffic control after hours or when someone wants door to lock when closing.

Deadlatch may allow exit only with exit paddle or lever on inside 

Specifications:

Lock Backset 1-1/2 inch, when 1/8 inch thick faceplate is attached

Latch extends 3/4 inch

Hand:  Handed, easily reversible

Case Dimensions: 7/8 inch W x 6 inches L x Depth specific to backset

Material: Steel

Faceplate: NONE, No face plate, order separately if needed 

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1). Deadlatch locks comes in 3 backsets:
31/32, 1-1/8, 1-1/2 inch, please check measurements carefully.

2). Reversing the handing:  Some locks have a latch that can be pulled out and rotated 180 degrees.  If the latch will not pull out and rotate, see handing article
