The Active assembly and be used on doors with astragals or without when the locks are face to face.
When the active door deadbolt extends into the passive gear box it restricts movement of the top and bottom shootbolts
This assembly is made with shootbolts attached to lock and can not be cut down

• Material: 430 SS, Standard Stainless Steel
• Backset: 2-3/8 inch ( 60 mm)

  To Change Handing:
  To change the direction of spring latch, Lift handle till deadbolt extends - pull out latch and spin around
  
  Lock operation:
  To lock door: Lift the handle to lock door and turn thumbturn to secure in locked position.
  When the handle is lifted the Deadbolt extends with other locking devices.
  To unlock door: Turn thumb turn or key to unlocked position and push down on lever.
