Rehand a Marvin Integrity multipoint lock: remove the two Phillips screws inside the latch, flip the latch over, drive the screws back in, then test latch and deadbolt operation with a spindle through the handle hole.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Locate the Latch Screws

  • Rehanding a Marvin Integrity multipoint lock is straightforward.
  • Look inside the latch on the lock face — you will see two Phillips-head screws holding the latch to the mechanism.
  • You only need a Phillips screwdriver and a spindle for testing.

2. Remove the Latch and Flip It

  • Unscrew both Phillips screws and lift the latch out of the lock.
  • Flip the latch over so the angled face points the opposite direction for the new door swing.
  • Set the latch back into the mechanism in its new orientation.

3. Reinstall the Screws and Test the Lock

  • Drive both Phillips screws back in to secure the latch.
  • Insert a spindle through the handle hole and turn it to confirm the latch retracts and springs back smoothly.
  • Throw the deadbolt with the construction key as well to confirm it still operates — if both work, the lock is successfully rehanded.
