Door Closer consists of clock spring torque that provides positive closing power and the white plastic body will not rust.
This Closer fits into the bug seal channel on the door bottom.
Your Screen Door must be in good working condition and all broken or worn rollers just be replaced.
Installation Instructions:
1. Remove the rubber Bug Flap 2-1/2 inches and insert the Screen Door Closer into the Screen Door Channel 1/8 inch above the track.
2. Drill 1/8 inch hole in the track side on the base 4 inches from the back edge of the closed Screen Door and insert the hook into the hole.
3. Test the door and if increase in power is needed turn the screw clockwise until the door closes. To release the power push the button on top.
