Plastic pivot bar assembly for old style single hung vinyl window

Used on single hung vinyl window about 1995-99.

Sash is routed 1 inch tall  9/16 Thick (-) out to slide in.  

1500 series old style single hung vinyl window

Plastic Pivot Bar: 1/2 inch x 2-5/16 inch   

Nylon Housing Length: 2-5/16 inch

Nylon Housing Thickness:  7/16   

Overall Length: 2-13/16 inch

Window used Constant Force Balance system, 1/2 thick single coil 1-1/8 wide. 

Pivot Lock Shoe was 1-1/4 wide.

Option 1:

If Plastic pivot bar is broken, Replace with 532003 Steel Pivot Bar 

1. Remove plastic pivot bar from housing

2. Crimp 1 end of Steel pivot bar # 532003

3. Insert crimped end into plastic housing

4. Tap lightly to drive metal pivot bar into plastic housing.

Option 2:

If pivot bar and housing are damaged, Replace with 532044  

Requires modification to sash
