Insulated Glass (I.G.)

Two panes of glass sealed to a metal spacer bar making a glass unit. This glass unit is also sealed around outside edges with butyl. The insulated glass thickness is determined by the spacer bar and individual glass pane thickness.

Interlock Rail (Meeting Rail)

U-shaped channels attached to the fixed and active panels of a sliding patio door. When in the closed position the channels from the two panels interlock to provide a weather barrier against air and water.
