Using a Keying Gauge
Handling of Keying Gauge
  1. Insert key through Keying Gauge. Line up the inner-most cut with the Keying Gauge and move the key to the narrow portion of the gauge until it stops.
  2. Note the number on the Keying Gauge where the key "stops" - this is the HOPPE pin size required for this cut.
  3. Repeat this process with the remaining key-grooves to find remaining pin sizes, working from inner-most key-groove to outer-most. Total of 5-pins are required.
