20mm Tongue Version Replacement Kit for Discontinued 20mm Fuhr Roundbolt
This is a Tongue Version Replacement Kit for the Discontinued Fuhr Roundbolt Multipoint Lock with a Backset of 55mm and a Faceplate Width of 20mm.
This Replacement Kit was developed for the above mentioned lock and may not work as a replacement for any other lock.
Please check your measurements carefully to insure you have the correct replacement.
Discontinued Fuhr Roundbolt Measurements:
Overall Length: 78 inches
Backset: 55mm (2-1/4")
Faceplate Width: 20mm (3/4")
Handle Height: 35"
Handle Spacing (PZ): 92mm (3-5/8")
Top Roundbolt Position: 28-3/4" above center of Handle Cylinder
Bottom Roundbolt Position: 25" below center of Handle Cylinder
Replacement Kit Measurements:
Overall Length: 71 - 78-3/4 inches
Backset: 60mm (2-3/8")
Faceplate: 20mm (3/4")
Handle Height: 36"
Handle Spacing (PZ): 92mm (3-5/8")
Top Tongue Position: 29-1/4" above center of Handle Cylinder
Bottom Tongue Position: 24-7/16" below center of Handle Cylinder
NOTE:
Due to the change in Backsets, the replacement will require you to slightly relocate the Handle Cylinder Hole on your door.
The new Locking Device Strikes will need to be repositioned on the door jamb and may require you to chisel out a small portion of the jamb to function correctly.
