2.5" Backset Mortise Lock, Lever Strength - Right Hand Reversible
Use: For Knob x Knob or Lever x Lever
For single and double cylinder applications
Latch bolt by knob from either side, except when outside knob is locked by stop in front, then latch bolt by key outside and knob inside. Deadbolt by key outside and turn piece inside. Continuous turn of key outside retracts both latch and deadbolt.
1 in. throw Deadbolt with saw-proof inserts is standard equipment. Not available for 2 in. or smaller backsets.
When extended, Deadbolt deadlocks latch bolt.

NOTE: 2-3/4" backset locks for doors thicker than 2" or doors 8ft or taller is recommended.
Priced and sold each. 2-1/2 in. backset comes with 1-1/4 in front. Non-standard 1 in. fronts are available upon request for an additional upcharge. Mortise Lock comes with (6340) ASA Strike as standard.
