This Elegant handleset provides a Modern or Transitional look and will replace numerous standard handle sets used with mortise locks. The thumb turn is 4-3/16" from top of plate. By just re-drilling 2 screw holes this may fit your door. 

Compare measurements to be sure the extra long plate will cover your old marks on door.
