How to Change an Active Kwikset Entry Handle to a Dummy (and vice versa)

This video tutorial shows how to change the function of a Kwikset entry handle. Depending on the series and year of the handle, Kwikset entry handles have interchangeable function mechanisms — dummy mechanisms can be unscrewed and switched with active mechanisms. Mechanisms should also be switchable between designs as long as the year and series of the handle are the same.
