Finger / Thumb Latch

A metal or plastic piece which slide in tracks built into the bottom corners of a storm insert. The finger latch is spring loaded and extends past the left and right edges of the insert. This protrusion inserts into notches built into the side of the frame track of an insert.

Floor Joist

Rough-in frame work. 2x10s or 2x8s placed horizontally across (on top of) the foundation of a home, attached to the rim. The floor joists support the sub floor of a home.

Full View (Storm Door)

Door which contains one large piece of glass which is either fixed or removable depending on the manufacturer. The glass normally occupies the entire front face area of the door.
