Reversing the HOPPE Mishandling Device
How to Reverse Mishandling Device on a HOPPE Multipoint Lock
- If lock is brand new, pull off sticker covering mishandling device.
- If lock is brand new, mishandling device will have a shipping clip clipped in by the mishandling device. Remove this.
- Check slope of mishandling device—does it slope the same way the latch does?
- If mishandling device is not facing same direction as latch, gently tug device until it clears faceplate and twist until bevel is facing right direction.
Note: Shipping clip can be reused if not immediately installing or shipping someplace else.
