Replacement Kit for Fuhr Multipoint lock with Hooks 499016099
The Multipoint Lock Tongue version Gear and extension with 2 locking points, matches up within 7/8 inch on top hook and 3/16 inch on bottom hook.
The Hook latch on the Fuhr Multipoint Lock was 1/4 inch wide.
The Tongue Latch on the replacement is 5/16 wide
Both styles of latches are tapered
Faceplate Width: 3/4 inch (20mm)
Backset: 1.38 inch (35mm)
Deadbolt Throw: 1.00 inches. (25.4mm)
Handle Height: 36.00 inch (914mm),
Bottom Tongue Position: 24.41 inches (620mm)
Maximum Cutoff: 6.30 inches (160mm)
Top Tongue Position: 29.25 inches (743mm)
Maximum Cut off 7.67 inches (195m) Faceplate Width .77 (20mm)
Replacement Lock Requires some minor modifications.
NOTE 1: The original Fuhr lock was about 64-3/16 in length with radius corners The Fuhr lock did not go from the top of the door to the bottom
The replacement will need to be cut to length with hacksaw and either round off corners or mortise door to fit square cut.
NOTE 2: If your door is taller and the lock is longer than this one Contact Office
Optional:
A higher tongue position at 37.20 inches up from handle is available for doors from 79.13 inches - 92.52 inches in height.
Requires a mortise for longer Extension and additional strike plate.
