American Cylinders

The American Cylinder hs a flat tail piece that rotates 180 Degrees(back and forth)
When installing the cylinder and the flat tail pieces if horizontal you have a 50/50 chance of it working
If installing the tail piece Vertically, it should work every time. This may require you to use a screw driver and rotate the lock slot in the door, before installing lock.
