Installing Stanley 7/16" Offset Dial Adjustable Hangers

The following instructions will explain how to install Stanley's 7/16" Offset Dial Adjustable Hangers for sliding closet door rollers.

  • For sliding doors
  • For 3/4" and 1-3/8" thick doors in conjunction with CD40-3192 dial adjustable hangers
  • Features fine tune dial to provide up to 5/16" alignment of door to jamb.
  • Acetal wheels for silent, smooth door operation.
  • For doors up to 60 lbs.
  • Hanger: Steel/Zinc plated; Wheel: Plastic/White
  1. For 1-3/8" doors: Use Part # 25410 (Stanley: CD40-3192) with 1/8" offset on front door, and Part # 25411 (Stanley: CD40-3188) with 7/16" offset on rear door. For 3/4" doors: Use Part # 25411 (Stanley: CD40-3188) on front door and Part # 25410 (Stanley: CD40-3192) hangers on rear door.
  2. Locate hangers on back of door 2-1/2" from each door edge. Use hangers as template and drill 3/32" pilot holes.
  3. Fasten screws.
  4. Hang rear door by tilting door approximately 15" to engage wheels in track.
  5. Repeat for front door.
  6. To align doors with jamb, lift door at side near jamb to remove door weight from hanger. Turn dial clockwise to lower door to counterclockwise to raise door.
