How to Change the Handing (Latch Direction) on a Peachtree IPD Lock

How to Repair an IPD Multi-Point Lock                                        Reverse the Panic-Release Function                                             Rehanding a Peachtree Multipoint Lock

This article pertains to parts 37400034 (left hand inswing) / 37400035 (right hand inswing)

IPD locks for Peachtree doors are handed one of two ways-- the differences are 1) which direction the latch bevel is facing and 2) Which side the panic release function is on. If bevel is facing the wrong direction, lock latch won't be able to clear the doorjamb. Reversing the bevel is an easy process.

Make sure once you reverse the direction of the latch that when you test the lock, the panic release function is on the inside. See our video for instructions on how to test this and reverse it if wrong: How to reverse the panic release function.

Note: The key-hole (black slot) always goes up--above the handle (silver spindle hole).
