Mortise Style Patio Door Handles

Mortise Style sliding door locks fit inside the door panel. The Mortise lock hook is operated by the thumb latch that is Independent of the handle. This style of door handle allows many options for exterior trim. The most common screw hole spacing is 3-15/16", however many are interchangeable. If your handle screw holes are 3-15/16 inches apart almost any handle set in this section will work as a replacement, depending on thumb position being centered or offset. The difference between Surface Mount Hook Type and Mortise Type handle sets. The Hook type has the latch in the handle, and the Mortise Type has a lock that mounts inside the door panel.
